Our open air photo booth needs approximately 10x10 feet of space, though we can work with slightly smaller areas if needed. We also need access to a standard electrical outlet within 20 feet and ideally WiFi for instant social sharing (though WiFi is not required for operation). The booth works both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting.
All packages include professional DSLR camera equipment, studio lighting, a professional attendant for the entire rental duration, setup and breakdown, a custom-designed template, and a curated collection of props. Print packages include unlimited high-quality prints in your choice of 4x6 or 2x6 strip format. Display packages add live screen feed and dual sharing kiosks. There are never any hidden fees.
We recommend booking 4-8 weeks in advance for most events, especially during peak wedding season (May-October) and the holiday party season (November-December). However, we often accommodate last-minute bookings with 1-2 weeks notice. Contact us to check availability for your date.
We primarily serve Los Angeles and a 120-mile radius, including Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Ventura County, and the Inland Empire. We also provide open-air photo booth rentals in the San Francisco Bay Area and Nashville, TN. Travel fees may apply for events more than 30 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
Open air photo booths use a backdrop instead of an enclosed structure, allowing 10-15 people in a single photo compared to 2-4 in an enclosed booth. Open air booths create a more social, engaging experience where guests watch others pose, encouraging participation. Absolutely! Our in-house design team creates custom templates to match your event theme, wedding colors, or corporate branding. We'll send you a design questionnaire 30 days before your event and work with you through revisions until it's perfect. Custom design is included in all packages.

Yes, our open air photo booth works beautifully outdoors for garden weddings, rooftop parties, and patio events. However, we require shade (tent, umbrella, or natural cover) to protect equipment from direct sunlight and light rain. We cannot operate in heavy rain or extreme weather. For outdoor events, we recommend having a backup indoor location just in case.
Absolutely! For events with 300+ guests, we often recommend multiple booth setups or extended hours to ensure everyone gets their photo opportunity without long wait times. We can also add our 360 booth or roaming booth for variety. Contact us to discuss large event options.
Simply click "Get a Quote" or "Book Now" on this page, fill out our quick form with your event details, and we'll respond within 24 hours (usually much faster). We'll discuss your needs, answer questions, and lock in your date with a 50% deposit and signed contract.
If your event runs over the contracted time, we charge $150 per additional hour. Your attendant will check in with you about 30 minutes before the contracted end time to see if you'd like to extend. We always try to accommodate when possible.
